  • Prestwich Clough Day
    Sun, 12/05/2013 - 12:00pm
IEPAD will be having a stall as usual at this annual event, 12-5pm, which is always busy and good fun.
Come and say hello, find out more about what we're up to these days, and perhaps choose a plant or two our volunteers have grown to take home.

Our stall will be at St Mary's Flower Park - you'll see the banner on Bury New Rd.  There will be plenty of Clough Day happenings around the Church Inn on Church Lane as well.

Paddock Farm is also involved with Marsden and Slaithwaite Transition Towns
Doors open at 7, talk starts 7.30pm
  • Big Dig at the Ostrich
    Sun, 17/03/2013 - 12:00pm @ Ostrich Pub Garden, Bury Old Rd, M25 1JF

IEPAD's Big Dig March event, 12-4pm. Over the last couple of years volunteers have transformed the rough, unused area at the back of the Ostrich pub's beer garden. Now we have all sorts of fruit and veg flourishing there and we're just getting started on a new growing season.

Come and join us for an afternoon - you can help us do some clearing & planting and find out about the organic /permaculture methods we use. If you don't like digging you'll discover how permaculture lets you get great results with much less effort.

Inside you'll find displays & information about volunteering opportunities in other IEPAD projects,  a seed swap & children's activities.
